
This two-day classroom course is designed to enhance your knowledge in
the construction of interlocking concrete pavements and will give you an
opportunity to become an ICPI Certified Installer.
Topics include:
- Material and labor estimating
- Job planning and layout
- Soil classification and compaction
- Soil compaction
- Bedding and joint sand
- Paver selection and installation
- Use of labor-saving specialty tools
Who Should Attend: This course has been designed for all companies and
individuals in the residential and commercial installation of interlocking concrete
pavements including: company owners; job superintendents; foremen and
supervisors; crew leaders; and, crew members (with a minimum of one year of
installation experience).
ICPI Certification: To earn an ICPI Concrete Paver Installer certification, you must:
- Take the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer course
- Receive a passing grade on the exam (Registration fee includes exam)
- Complete an Application for Certification (meeting the minimum installation
experience requirements of at least 5 projects and 10.000 sq. ft.)
General Information: This is not a hands-on course. It is a knowledge-based
classroom course recommended for those with a minimum of one year's field
experience.
