In 1965, several Ohio landscape contractors got together to discuss ways to encourage professional standards within the industry. Soon a collective force emerged of those who shared the vision that an exceptional work ethic, ongonig training, education, business ethics, design and aesthetics, horticultural sciences and a passion for the green industry would forever change the way we think about the landscape. Forty-five years later, we continue to abide by those guiding principles.

The mission of the Ohio Landscape Association is to encourage professionalism and ethical standards among landscape contractors through educational opportunities and to promote the image of the landscape industry.
